If you need accommodation in Madrid we also offer accommodation in apartments and host families.
All accommodations are situated near our school and are reachable within a maximum of twenty minutes by metro or bus.
Arrival & Departure
The name of Madrid’s airport is Barajas (MAD). It is based 12 kilometers to the east of the city centre.
A taxi to the centre costs approximately 15 Euro. There is a local bus from the airport to the Plaza de Colón in the city centre which leaves every 15 minutes. Additionally there is the metro service to the city centre for 1 Euro.
If you have not reserved accommodation with us, we kindly ask you to come to our school at the first day of your course. Please find further details in our travel information you will receive with your enrolment confirmation.
Shared student apartments
Apartments are shared with fellow students and have 3-6 bedrooms as well as one or more bathrooms, a kitchen and a living room. The kitchen is fully equipped. Television, washing machine, iron, ironing board and bed sheets are provided. Bed sheets are changed every 2 weeks when our apartments are cleaned by our cleaning staff.
It is important to know that in our apartments students are responsible for dish washing, laundry, cleaning, shopping, cooking and setting up the bathroom with toilet paper, soap and towels.
There are single and shared double rooms to choose from, if you choose a double room and arrive alone we will place another student into your room.
Host families
Living with a host family is a good choice if you wish to participate in Spanish everyday life and are interested in learning more about the local culture and food. Our host families have much experience in providing hospitality to foreign students. Our host families only speak Spanish, a fact that supports and completes our method of direct learning.
Our host families offer breakfast or half board (breakfast and lunch or diner) with single rooms.
If you did reserve accommodation with us please note that accommodation is available from Sunday before your first course day until Saturday after your last course day.
If you arrive earlier or leave later, we will try to reserve all necessary extra nights, which will be charged automatically when you enroll.
On your day of arrival accommodation is available from 14:00 h and on your day of departure accommodation must be vacated by 12:00 h.
